The most common way to practice gratitude is to keep a gratitude journal and write down three things you’re grateful for each day.
• Family
• Health
• Home
• Friends
• Stability
Or perhaps you rather express gratitude to someone in your life through a handwritten note, text, or phone call.
• Your Bestfriend
• Your Sibling(s)
• Your Spouse
• Your Child(ren)
• Your Teacher
• Your Boss
The key is, to take a few moments each day to reflect on something you’re grateful for, whether it’s a person, place, or experience.
• Health
• Sunshine
• Memories
• Travel
• Relationships
• Nature
• Animals
• Music
As you can see, there is an abundance of things we can be grateful for each and every day.
I recommend practicing gratitude first thing in the morning before heading out for the day, it helps to maintain an attitude of gratitude throughout the day.
May we all begin (or continue) to reap the healing benefits of the sacred practice of gratitude.
Namaste
